The Elden Ring, a world-spanning cult that converts its followers into the undead Elden, has been waging war on humanity in the Lands Between. The iconic war antagonist is Tarnished. You, a knight of the Cross and a warrior of the Elden, have been summoned to the lands. You can defeat the undead by wielding powerful magic known as Sword Skill.
Gameplay
The adventure begins in the vibrant Lands Between, where you will fight against zombies, undead lords, witches, and the Witch Queen, who are all part of the Cult of Elden and are led by the Vampire Elden boss, Tarnished. Your sword is the key to this battle. You use your sword’s “Sword Skill” to do critical strikes that can turn the tide of the battle.
Sword Skill
The core gameplay of Elden Ring is Sword Skill. Its origins are based on the Japanese video game, Nioh. In the game, Sword Skill is a special weapon type, the power to which can be passed on to another when you use it.
Battle
Various battles in this game are composed of three modes: single, multiplayer, and asynchronous multiplayer. You and your party face against a battle enemy that is a combination of zombies, undead lords, witches, and the Vampire.
Single Mode
Before each battle, you can adjust the difficulty setting. After doing that, you participate in a simple battle against an enemy.
Multiplayer Mode
In multiplayer, you can take part in battles with up to four players. When your avatar dies, you can choose to resurrect it. The death of your avatar causes you and your ally’s avatar to be separated from the battle. This mode also allows you to have conversations.
Asynchronous Multiplayer
In asynchronous multiplayer, the battle takes place in a 3D virtual world environment and you and your allies can interact with one another in the 3D world. You can use various commands like travel, change weapons, and items while you are talking with your allies. Afterward, both of you can communicate with one another by way of text messages.
