Keymacro is a KDE macro program. It allows users to create macros, make keymaps for KDE applications, assign hotkeys to these macros, and edit and watch a list of all keymaps that were created using the Keymacro application.

Getting started:
One of the first steps when trying to start Keymacro is to run it on Linux, and once it has started, to enter the preferences and enable the database.
To do so, open the menu and press the button for “Preferences”. Once the preferences dialog appears, press the button “Configure” to open the configuration dialog.
In the dialog, you should check the “Global hotkeys” checkbox, press “Apply” and click on “OK”.
After that, press “Add”.
In the dialog that appears, you should press the button “Add”.
Finally, you should press “OK” and “Close”.
After that, click on “OK”.
Click “Close” once you are done.
