Spark performance issue in clustering a dataframe
I have a large dataframe that I need to cluster. For that, I am using Spark.
The problem I am facing is that the spark api is taking lot of time for performing the groupBy and other functions.
I am using the spark 2.3 version.
Is there any performance improvement in using Spark 2.3 version?
The Spark API should have changed recently, so you may want to post some examples that is not working.
Also, you are currently using the Parallel Evaluation (PE) API, which is deprecated since Spark 2.0. The recommended API to use is Scalding and the code should run much faster.

Think back to the beginning of 2009. The Obama administration’s newly minted National Security Council (NSC) and the newly
