The Word Is Not The Thing is an experimental indie game.
It’s not so much about jumping and shooting as it is about you observing your own emotional connection to words and playing with those emotions, seeing if you use words to escape from a feeling.
It’s a unique game of exploration and discovery through the human condition, using your emotional connection to words as a mechanic in itself.
Inspired by the 20th century philosopher J. Krishnamurti, whose subject matter included psychological revolution, the nature of mind, meditation, inquiry and human relationships.
Interact with the environment, paintings and other characters through a story that unfolds over 3 days and five locations: the home, the commute, the office, nature, and the self.
The Word Is Not The Thing goes into separating the word from the feeling, allowing us to discover for ourselves what happens when we don’t let the word interfere with the direct perception of the feeling. Not rejecting the word, or suppressing it, but seeing its effect. Not running away with explanations, or with another set of words. Seeing that escape. And doing nothing about it. Not just saying you get it, but actually doing it.
Emotionality is the difficulty; the words get harder to deal with depending on your emotional connection to any given word. Choose to go inside yourself and go up against your core fear.

The word is not the thing is a very good game, but it lacks a key part: an ending.
A good ending would be, for example: you have missed the buses coming back from work, since this bus would have been the second one. And then you can quit your job and plan what to do next or you can get on the next bus and start all over again or anything that is important to you.
But the game only ends with me getting a new job and leaving New York forever. And after that it starts a new story – and I have no idea where that story will go or what my choices will be.
I’m also having trouble understanding what motivates the game.
I love the game, since it manages to talk about how we deal with emotional situations and the stresses they are putting on our souls.
However, I would also have liked the story to have been a bit more detailed and

The First model that i come across with is the ”Base model in the video” and you are using very outdated version as the one that i found is 2015 version.

Moral King, published by Ubisoft, is a solid videogame in the style of many other video games. It’s basically about a hero who, in this case, is a prisoner who gets to become a prisoner of the hour. At first, this seems like a quite normal story, but further progresses, and it gets more confusing.
The game puts the player in control. When you mouse over a screen, you are asked about your actions. Your choices have influence, and some of them are crucial later in the game.
This story does have a rather interesting plot, but the controls can be a bit difficult. However, it makes up for it with the story itself. The game has its own soundtrack which can be customised.
The controls aren’t the best, but there are tutorials that explain them. It’s really about the story and the fun of watching the gameplay videos.
Over all, this is a fairly good roleplaying game with compelling story and rather unique design.

So let’s see if I can even spoil the story, so you get an idea how complicated the story is.
One of the protagonist’s memories was stolen when they were young. He remembered the supposed thief, and decided to go looking for him.
He arrives at the Burgrave Altendorf’s castle and asks what he should do. They say “everything is fine”, and it gets complicated, because each time you make a choice, things are different and a new question shows up.
Once he enters the castle, he notices a strange character in an isolation cell, and he’s asked to help him get out. In the next step, he saves the man who stole his memories, called “Nameless”, and he was able to get out of his cell thanks to the man, although he had to go through a series of trials to get him out.
One thing is clear to the protagonist: all along, he has been asking the wrong questions, and got the wrong answers.
